Andrew Neuman is 19 years old and is a third year electrical apprentice currently employed with Nu-tek Electrical.
Andrew is eager to get over to Rwanda and help with electrical, orphan feeding and setting up small businesses. His past experience in overseas mission aid to India and Zambia contribute to his desire to help others less fortunate.
When Andrew was 14 years old he went with Teen Missions for the summer to India and helped build a school and work with orphan children.
At the age of 16 Andrew went with Teen Missions for the summer to Zambia and built a Resuce Unit in a remote tribal village. A Rescue Unit is used for school, medical and a church. They worked developing a feeding program for orphans as well as bringing socks and shoes to these same children.
Andrew’s passion and dream is to bring hope to the hopeless. His experience in past mission trips has helped him to see how this can be done. With Operation Rwanda he will have the opportunity to develop his dream further in the initiatives that this operation will bring to Rwanda.
At eight years old, Andrew’s Dad returned from a trip to India where he saw poverty and hopelessness and was able to work to help bring change. It was at this time that the desire was sparked in Andrew to help make a difference in this world. Andrew said “I may not be able to do everything but I can do something to change this world”.
